operatinglifewithnomalfunctions.Ifamalfunctionnonetheless
occursduringoperation,checkwhetheritisduetoanoperating
error.Pleasenotethatevenduringthewarrantyperiodtheresult-
antservicingcostsinthiscasewillhavetobebornebytheowner.
You may be able to rectify the following faults by checking
the possible causes yourself:
Appliance does not function:
–Istheapplianceswitchedon?
–Istheplugcorrectlyfittedinthemainssocket?
–Isthefuseintact?
Loud running noise:
–Istheappliancesetupfirmlyonthefloor?
–Doestheappliancecausenearbyitemsoffurnitureorobjectsto
vibrate?Pleasenotethatnoisescausedbytherefrigerantcircuit
cannotbeavoided.
The temperature is not cold enough:
–Isthetemperaturesettingcorrect(see"Settingthetemperature")?
–Haveexcessiveamountsoffreshfoodbeenplacedintheappli-
ance?
–Does the separately installed thermometer show the correct
reading?
–Istheventilationsystemworkingproperly?
–Istheappliancesetuptooclosetoaheatsource?
If none of the above causes
apply and you cannot rectify
the fault yourself, contact the
nearest customer service de-
partmentstatingthetypedes-

and appliance number ➌ as
indicatedonthetypeplate.

Shutting your appliance down
Ifyourapplianceistobeshutdownforanylengthoftime,switch
itoffanddisconnecttheplugorswitchofforunscrewthefuse.
Cleantheapplianceandleavethedooropeninordertoprevent
unpleasantsmells.

1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.

3. Unscrewtheventilationgrille.
5. Drythefilterandthen,inreverseorder,replaceit.
6. Re-attachtheventilationgrille.
7. CancelthedustfilterLED
